The Thai Detox Massage Protocols incorporate Thai Reflexology/ Energy Work, Hot/Cold Herbal Compress treatments, whole body dry brush applications and Ayurvedic Abdominal Massage. The fusion of these massage cleansing techniques stimulates internal organs, works on the muscular, circulatory and lymphatic systems, eases tension, improves blood/lymph circulation, removes toxins from the major abdominal organs, eliminates waste, clears energetic blockages and balances energy ki, or life force to improve overall health. Another purpose of Thai Detox Massage is to work specifically and precisely with meridians and marma points (acupuncture points) of the feet and hands to achieve a balance in the entire body. 

Massage students will learn how to integrate the Thai Detox Protocols into their existing massage practice, and how smoothly the original foundation of a typical Traditional Thai Massage session can be performed with dynamic flowing movements, full body manipulation, rhythmic and acupressure techniques on the feet, hands, and abdomen and how to apply heated towels and heated herbal compresses to their clients. 

Participants will receive a Thai Detox massage workbook with photographs and detailed descriptions of sequences and protocols, which can be done on the table or on the Thai mat.

This Thai Massage course is part of our Thai Spa Protocols. There are no pre-requisites for participants, and the techniques are designed so they can immediately be put into practice. Participants will earn 12 NCBTMB and Florida Massage CE hours.
